Thanks to Jesus...lolTitanthedragon 10-22-2004, 12:54 PM My car is running right...again... Either way, my battery was so dead it had a 9 volt output. This explains the air bag light, thank you beyondloadedSE! Only thing that kinds of pisses me off is that the contour takes a stubby battery that cost me 65 dollars...but my car now starts before I can turn the key all the way down. The guy at the motor shop told me that my check engine light could have been on because my battery was such a peice of dog "leftovers" that it could have caused the extra juice to be pulled from the alternator, which would cause the car to think the alternator is over running. Could this be true? I sounds right in theory, but why the heck didn't my battery light come on ever? Well I didn't till the car wouldn't start at all and went all crazy and lit up like a christmas tree...Either way I am happy my car is running with no check engine light! Thanks guys! Titanthedragon 10-22-2004, 12:57 PM lol by the way the battery died at 70007.8 miles! lol I thought it was kind of funny the night before when I watched it roll over to 70K on the way home cause I parked it in my driveway at that point. Just a little funny thing. As far as I know the battery that was in the car was the original so that would make it 6 - 7 years old. beyondloadedSE 10-22-2004, 03:49 PM glad i could have been of some assistance. Check contour.org for any other questions you may have. Just about all known problems have been put into a FAQ over there. I mainly just frequent these forums to help the "blind" out and help them see the light over on CEG. :grinno: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
