main fuse or possibly the battery fuse in box under hood keeps blowing...it is 80 amps. any clues? could the alternator be the problem? i replaced once and it worked fine for a week. now the fuse blows as soon as i hook it up.

check wiring and ground, fuses are built to blow when there is overwhelming voltage or amperage
