Radiator Drain ??bluestreak_55 10-21-2004, 05:55 PM I can't find the radiator drain on my 1994 concorde so I can change the thermostat, and re-charge the system. Need help locating it theFREAKnasty82 10-29-2004, 11:54 AM Look on the bottom of the radiator, passenger side for a bow-tie looking screw. That's what will allow you to drain the coolant from your radiator. Browser509 01-24-2005, 09:14 PM Don't know about the 97 but in the 3.2 L (1999) the thermostat is in the inlet hose of the water pump! yep, down underneath. Caution: Do not use pliers or wrenchs on the radiator drain. It should only be finger tight. It is all plastic with an o-ring. Going to drain my engine and replace this week. Need help locating it I forgot to add in my first post that on later model concordes the cooling system is a closed system. I mean that after refilling you must bleed the system of air. You will find a bleed value on the 1998 (?) and newer models just beneath the upper intake manifold at the front of the engine. NOT sure if your 1994 is the same or not, but you might look for a bleed value, similiar to what is on a brake caliper, for you cooling system. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
