brake booster 72fbird 10-20-2004, 10:57 PM
1972 pontiac firebird with a 350 2 bbl engine....i cannot get the brake booster off how do i do this? i also overheated the car recently and i just replaced the water pump and thermostat but now i have a miss in the enigine. i replaced the spark plugs, the distributor cap, the rotor, and the spark plug wires. What could the problem be? FormulaLT1 10-21-2004, 04:28 AM What have you tested, so far? I would run a compression test just to make sure no major damage was done. FormulaLT1 10-21-2004, 04:34 AM Also I know this doesn't answer your question but I recommend getting a Haynes or one of the other Manuals because they will provide a better description of the step by step procedure for removing a brake booster than most of us could and They have pretty pictures too(always a bonus). Most will run you around $15 72fbird 10-21-2004, 06:42 AM yea i ordered one im just waiting for it to get here 72fbird 10-21-2004, 06:43 AM yea i need to test it but after i got the water pump replaced they said the only reason i didnt mess up my engine was because i had just changed the oil that week Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
