Power Door Lock on passenger side door

I have a new-to-me 1988 Dodge Ram Van B350 (for 3 months now) that I LOVE!!! Brought it from OR to CA and today it is in the shop getting a new air pump and carb adjustment, evap hose --- for $350. Seems high to me, but since I'm not a mechanic, a woman, and I need the car to pass the smog test to register in CA... what can I do...?

Anyway, my question here is:

The power door lock on the passenger side door does not work. I can push the button down or up to lock or unlock that door... Or from the driver's side the power lock will lock all the doors in the van.

Tho I'm not a mechanic (my father was), I can certainly follow directions to take the door apart and replace any part if anyone can give me the right direction to start off in.

Thanks!

The solenoid must be good if the driver's side will lock and unlock the door. I would bet on the switch in the passenger door. It probably can be pryed out and replaced. Where in CA. I am in San Jose.
