Fuel Hose Problemimportracing27 10-16-2004, 06:06 PM I swapped a 96 honda accord ex vtec engine into my 90 accord. My stock fuel line (hose) was too short (not long enough) so i got a custom one made but its a little bigger then the stock one, what fuel hose (line) should i be using:? What car do i get one off of? Let me know thanks! Hammer Head 10-17-2004, 08:38 PM Dude im going to be doing the same swap im going to cut the exsisting line and ad to it with connecters and clamps. Dont mean to crash your post but is there anything tricky to this swap that you can tell me. thanks 94accordVTEC 10-18-2004, 10:08 AM Dude im going to be doing the same swap im going to cut the exsisting line and ad to it with connecters and clamps. Thanks Hammer Head 10-18-2004, 07:34 PM 40psi is nothing, connecters and clamps are good for 300 psi, thats with a good steelbraided line. But for 40 psi you wont have any problems, just make sure its not rubbing against anything. I agree that this isnt the best way to do things. But it will work. importracing27 10-19-2004, 01:46 AM So your telling me that my fuel hose that i have right now is ok? The custom one that i had made? I heard that you can use a fuel hose from a prelude bc there longer and that will work? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
