I go with ps2 all the way. Gamecube is more of a childish consol and has always been more towards children and it cant play dvds so thats bad. X-Box isnt that bad but the grafiix are still more childish as if they pixel shaded almost every game, it plays dvd but u need to buy a remote. Now ps2 it goes online for games its a dvd player grafix are amazing. hell sony came into this industry a few years ago and hell they made it what it was. Hope this helps

PS2 is cheaper, has the best games, same great graphics, same hardware!xbox for one thing is from Microsoft and if u really want an xbox you preety much are putting a dreamcast with a PS2, and the that kidcube is too kidish and the games suck, what games they do have! :apoke:

I have a PS2 and a Xbox, the PS2 has more games then the other 2 and you can play DVDs with it, which u cant with the game cube and you need a extra piece with the xbox which means more $. But I will say the xbox has some dam good graphic, I think they are just a little better then the PS2, and the xbox can save a lot with out having to use a memory card which I always lose and then need to go spend $ buying a new one for the PS2. So PS2 is the best, but the xbox is right behind, and the gamecube is last. But you should talk to someone with a game cube, I heard they are eay to take places cause the are so small, they arnt big and bulky like the other 2.

Im going to have to go with x-box. Playstation has more games true, but I tend to favor quality over quantity. just play panzer dragoon, splinter cell, halo and steel battalion and you'll know what I mean.

I'd have to go with PS2 except it pisses me off that it has taken them so long to get Metal Gear Substance and Splinter Cell, I almost sold my PS2 for an xbox just for those 2 games.

Xbox by far. Best graphics, most power, most expensive to build, can save without buying memory card. It may not have as many games as PS2, but the games are better, besides, it hasn't been around as long. GameCube has few games, but I like that it is small and the few games I have played on there, there are of pretty good quality. PS2 has the most games and the most consoles out there and you have to buy an extra piece to play more than 2 player. Read any professional opinion in gaming magazines or on gaming websites, they'll agree, XBOX is the system to get.

Xbox is my favorite because of Halo. PS2 has some great games (METAL GEAR SOLID 2) but i have heard about disk reading problems with them. Good games on GameCube also. So I favor all three.

PS2 has so many die-hard loyalists, and that's great for Sony.. but why? PS2 isn't the best system technically speaking, and it has a lot of games, but a good amount of them are not great quality. I like PS2, I hate Bill Gates, but so what? Emotions played no part in what system I bought, went for the most powerful and the system with the most potential - Xbox. With Xbox live in full-swing with some great games and the most impressive graphic capabilities I am very happy. Don't like Xbox? Well, ask yourself why you don't like it - is it just because it's "cooler" to own PS2? Have you even played some of the great Xbox games? Play Otogi and tell me Xbox doesn't have a sense of style - play Halo and tell me it doesn't own any other FPS - play Fable and tell me it doesn't have a good RPG - play Ninja Gaiden and tell me it doesn't push out unbelievable graphics and hardcore gameplay. Best of all... play any new major sports game release on Xbox live and tell me it doesn't beat the hell out of PS2's online play. But don't tell me you "hate Xbox - it suxor much cuz bil gats is dum and shiit"

i think ps2 is the best, xbox is second because it doesn't have that many good games but we'll see once forza motorsport comes out, and gamecube is last cuase ijust cant think of any games i like besides smash bro's melee.

I have all 3 systems and i don't see what games ps2 has that are so great. Gran Tursimo is the shit i'll give it that. before they let nintendo outbid them for the rights to Resident Evil(dumbest move ever) i would have said that was their best series. I hated metal gear. nothing pisses me off more than playing a game for 5-10 minutes and then having to sit through a half hours worth of movies. Final Fantasy was pretty good i guess GTA's pretty good. Socom online was fun for a little while.
The best thing PS2 has going for it is the free online service, but i'd rather pay $5 a month for Xbox's service cuz they offer downloadable content for their games like new characters, clothing, weapons, missions, etc, through Xbox Live.

Gamecube has a few good games. The remake of Resident Evil was awesome. Resident Evil 0 was a good instalment in the series. Metroid was real good, F-Zero was worth playing. i never played it but i hear the zelda game was good. the new Zelda Game coming out is supposed to be awesome. they Also Have Resident Evil 4 coming to the cube soon.

i prefer my xbox. the other 2 systems leave me pretty much indifferent.

Mye fave is PS2. Come one I still play the original Tony Hawk on it, can't beat that. I rank the PS@ and X-box the same. Both have great graphics and plays well. I like how the X-box uses the trigger buttons as gas and brake with racing games. I'm gonna get the gamecube down the road cuz I grew up with Nintendo. Plus they got Mario Kart, how can you not like Mario Kart. I have like 5 diff systems: Orignal Nintendo, Gen 1 Sega, 64, PS2, X-BOX, gameboy color and advance, plus my PC. I'm not yet done collecting either. With PS2 you can jump on the net with out paying anything like the X--BOX does, so thats cool.

^^^^ that and the ps2 has a dial-up feature for us unfortunate people who can't afford broadband.
