The engine runs perfect when suddenly it stalls while driving. When i restart the engine it wont keep idle running unntil i push the troottle down up to 4500 revs then i runs corrctlecly again for a while.

well idling the engine at 4500 RPM's is dagerous. did u do anything b4 this happen, any repairs or anything, that may have caused this. email me, Joe dksob81@hotmail.com

What speeds does this happen? My 96 5.2 Had a simular problem and was the IAC.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong. My Jeep is doing the same thing. I've had the distributor cap replaced and the pick-up assembly replaced, and it will be ok for a little while, then bam, I'll be driving along and the RPM guage hit 0, sometimes if I pump the gas it comes back, but not always. I desperately need to keep my car at least another year, so if you figured out what was wrong with your I'd love to know so I can try and see if that's the same thing that is wrong with mine. I also did the check engine light code test and got code 15 if that means anything to you.

it is the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
