hi if the heater is not working at all the coman fault is a burnt out connector you will find this by removeing your windscreen wipers then take off the slam panel you will find your wiper motor, just to the right side of that is your heater motor take off the connector if it is melted thats your fault to get it working again you will need to replace this also the connector on the heater motor itself renault sell the kit for about £30 but you will need to know what make the heater is,if you look on top of the heater box you will find the make hope this helps

Hi, we have similar problem with our Clio, did the suggestion sort your problem out?

Did you do it yourself?....if so, how long, was it difficult etc...?

Or did you have it done at the garage?....was it expensive?

We also have probs. with the heater itself - think it needs replacing as it only generated luke warm air (when fan last worked)

yes i did it myself can be done took about half an hour if you know what make it is you might be able to get parts from scrapyard cost me about £7 all in luke warm air might be down to thermostat stuck open this is about £15 for new part easy to do takes about half an hour again you will need to drain cooling system flush out well hose pipe is good then make sure you use antifreeze to refill about 2 liters
