93 ltd.4.0 I6 Quadra trac
1, Anyone ever replaced the coolant guage sensor at the back of the block. (The one for the cluster guage) Got a new one but the old one is hard to reach, almost have to climb into the engine bay. Should i remove fuel rail & such for clearance, or do i need a special tool. Regular socket slips.

2, Looking for new radiator, want to purchase from radiator express. However they have 2 rads. The regular replacement, & a three line/level metal upgrade for the towing package. i have the package should i buy this one. Wont the metal rust later on.

well from what I have loooked at the Temp. Sending Unit doesn't seem that hard to get to. u should be able to get a wrench on the sensor to remove it, if u need a pic of the sennsor email me (Joe, dksob81@hotmail.com), I will send u a pic of where it is located on ur engine (it sounds like u know where it is tho).

Yes, get the one with Tow Package u will get better cooling. No it won't rust it is Aluminum, the regular replacement has Plastic Side tanks. if u can afford the extra dough for the Upgrade I recommend getting it.

Thanks. i do know where it is. Do u know the correct size wrench to use . nothing grips. should i use some penetrating oil.

1/2", it may be a lil tuff to get off b/c it should have thread sealnt on it, so it doesn't leak.
