Is the tube going out of the black plastic intake hat (on top of the throttle body) the oil pan breather valve?

I know this would be a negligible mod, but couldn't you cut the tube out, put a breather filter on it, and plug the intake hole for more direct air flow? Just a thought

Yes you can. On my 1994 Blazer, I made an intake and had to take all the stock stuff out. In order to do that though, I had to get a Breather filter to put in the PCV intake. (on top of the throttle body)

O, that little tube is for the PCV intake? I know breather filters are like 10 bucks.

Passenger side valve cover = intake

Driver's side valve cover = PCV valve.

This is not a mod and will do nothing for anything.

Leave it the way it is.
