I remember seeing on the board about howto make the turn signal blink faster. Something about replacing the relay with a smaller one.?.? Where is this? and how can I do it? Autozone sell the piece I need? Thanks

OMG!! I have the same thing, only in my case, I find it an annoying problem. I replaced the CENTER bulbs on each tail light with high intensity LED ones with tiny bulbs at the end. It was crazy....first, both the regular bulb would come and AND the LED one...with the LED one being a lot more precise than the regular one....slowly after a week, th regular one stopped blinking, and all i got was the hypder red LED ones blinking real fast... ? WTF!

I heard if you replace your bulbs with LED replacements, they blink faster. Otherwise it's hacking up the stock blinker wiring, which I don't know.. but you can probably find an article on it.

my tail lamp fuse blew in the freeway so i only had a 30fuse and put that untill i got home. everytime i would put the signal on it would blink about 5 times faster than regular. it was pretty cool. but i put the right one back on.

If you did that long term though you would run the risk of frying elictrical components.

the tail lamp fuse under the hood, put like a 20 and see if it does it, but im not 100 percent sure. might do more than juss that.

my left rear taillight was like that. turns out the problem was that my left turn signal bulb was out, so i replaced that, and whala, good as new. so to the guy who started this thread, if you wanna do it the ghetto way, take your rear turn signals out, your brake lights will still blink (i think its the brake lights)

i think the fast blinky is there to let the driver know that there is a problem with one of the bulbs...many other cars do a fast blinky when they fuse a bulb...

I just want a fast signal tho. There is no turn signal fuse in the engine compart., only in under dash. Tried changing... nothing happened. It must be a relay that can be pooped out and changed to work.

if your turn signal is blinking faster it should be corrected to get it back to normal speed cuz like the one person said it is hard on all of the flashers and every componet between the switch and the bulb but if u have led bulbs since led lights don't produce the same heat that a normal bulb does i am not sure if that will hurt the electrical system or not
