yes, their are alot of cocky tc owners out there am i one well thats just your opinion but i dont consider myself that, and no i dont think i drive some sort of insanely fast "godlike" car, it is hard to describe in words but if you have driven one you'd know, the tc "feels" fast, and it has alot of torque for being a $16k four banger, effortless acceleration anywhoo, after work( around 1am) i met up with my friend at the 76 on alondra and woodruff i think it was... we drove around for a while randomly untill we hit a sidestreet right off studebaker by cerritos college completely empty so he pulls up next to me and hes like well lets go, it wont get any better than this, so once the light hits green we both take off, i hit the gas pretty forcefully but not enough to make the wheels chirp,were about even untill 3rd gear and he starts to pull away beats me to the next light by a car length and 1/2 i shut down about 72 mph not being a dick or anything i admit defeat and give him a thumbs up, and he asks wanna go again and im like ok,when the light turns green i dont take any chances and floor it jumping ahead he starts to catch up, but i end up winning by almost 1/2 a car length i hit about 84 this time...after that we decide to call it a night...

part 2 of our night
we stop at 711 for cheetos and mountain dew, we walked outside and these two white guys pull up in a super ricey civic ( youve heard the story time and time again) alteezas, had to be a 4" muffler some one could get lost in there haha, aluminum spoiler, looked like an uncompleted body kit, still had the hubcaps too and was painted an attractive teal color... so one of these guys walks up to my car, kicks the tire and makes some unaudible comments to his friend, so i look at my friend n hes llike lets jus take off , so i hope in my car and drive off trailing ryan not 5 minutes later i hear the modren sound of performance sounds of the lawnmower/weedwacker ricer fly by and then the light turns red im behind the zx3 and hes next to the civic, he starts talkin crap bla bla bla at light they both jump out, but the zx3 pulls ahead effortlessly untill hes 3-4 car lengths ahead, realizing how much room i have i gun it too pass up the civic and cut him off, the road opens up to 3 lanes and im on the far left, zx3 in middle and civic on the right, he sticks his head out the window shit are you running a turbo under there? cheater!! or maybe you were spraying, no my friend replies all stock, and the other guy (obviously embarrased) yells out naw, i dont race against cheaters, so he ends up makin a right and conveniently shows us the bird... :loser:

A turbo is cheating? Wow... I guess its unfair to race sports cars because there are grocery getters on the road.

what kind of engine's in your friends z3? is it the 2.5 or the 3.0?

zx3 is a focus, 2.0 zetec 130hp. Or else it's the 2.3 duratec 145hp.

i was aiming to break the "longest sentence ever" record, oh and hes got the 2.3L apparently anything faster than a honda civic would be considered cheating...???haha
