my friend wants to race me, he drives a 04 focus zx3 completely stock ( manual), and i have a 05 scion tc with trd exhaust (auto) would it be a waste of gas to race him, or would he win?

i'd do it...just to see who'd win...you'd PROBABLY win...but you never kno...i'd try it

i hate the scion TC. . .sorry its the most over rated rice mobile ever. I know my car is pretty ricey being a cavalier, but mines a little special. ANd ive noticed such an arrogance with the Scion TC owners. They are so cocky about the car it makes me sick. 160HP isnt a whole lot, not for the amount of weight it has. I mean look at you, asking if its a waste of gas like your car is such a god compared to his. 20 HP man, big difference, he has a manual and less weight, i think he'll win.

lol a 137HP Ford Escort ZX2 could give a TC a run for its money; 98 that is, with a good driver those ZX2 ran mid 15s.
