Alright, some of you may have read the story where I was beaten by a KIA. Read: "WHAHH..Blown away...by a KIA!!!" So anyway, same story but with a better ending to it. Here goes:

So I'm on my way home once again, on the same route I usually go. Just cruising, nobody around (just so you know I finish work at 12:00 noon, hardly anyone around), and soon enough I see this car approaching me fast. In my mind, I'm hoping it was the little shit from the other day that flipped me off after he went by me during a race. Just my Luck!! It was him.

He flew by and didn't even acknowledge my car as he did before. I did some tuning last night on my vtec controller, I hadn't notice any difference after I had done so, but I just upped a few settings here and there, trying to make a difference with my car. So I flew down the hill to catch him at any light that had turned red. Finally I came up with him at another light.

I rolled up to him to peek inside, and he looked over at me, and rolled down his window. To my surprise it turned out that this little shit was actually my good friend Jose's younger brother (Juan). Jose and I compete with our civics, practically the same (model, year, parts) SO...UUUWWW!!! This was just more incentive for me to beat him. His ass was mine.

He gave his car some gas, engine revved about, and I did the same with a smile on my face. The light turned green and we gunned it. We both peeled off the start and were even through the first gear. Same story as last time, I gradually pulled on him through second gear. But once we hit 3rd, I noticed a difference, he didn't even climb on me after that, I just pulled away, and I soon hit 4th and that was that. He gave up and didn't try to catch me. Stunned myself, I rolled down my window, and signaled for him to follow me to pull over.

During this time, I asked him to pop his hood to see what he did to make it grunt. Here's whats funny. He went down to checker's, bought an Intimidator Intake (APC), meant for the 92-95 Civics, and duct taped it to his throttle. To me it seemed like a pretty good idea. And, he just welded on his muffler. We both had a good laugh about that one.

So, I smiled and asked, "What happened? You beat me the other day..."
He replied, "I don't know, I'm wondering that myself, I beat you the other day and I can't figure out why I lost. Did you put anything new in your car?"
" Nope, just tuned up the vtec controller." (me)
" No kidding!! Well, good race..."
" Yeah, that was a good one." So we chatted a little bit, and he walked towards his car, just as he got in I shouted at him. He looked over and I returned his little gesture from the other day (I flipped him off). He smiled and we went our seperate ways. Well, I'm glad I got some revenge, and thought it was quite hilarious that I got revenge the next day after venting about it. Maybe it's good Karma, or luck, but whatever it was I'm satisfied. Late...

 I haven't seen that show in maybe 7 years. Funny shit.

I'll have to track an episode down on cable.
