clutch fluid squirts out on to clutch pedalejsegur 10-07-2004, 05:56 AM I have a 1981 SR5 2wd pickup that is squirting clutch fluid on to the clutch pedal. It is coming out from under the dash everytime I push in the clutch my shoe gets a squirt. The part feels rubber that it is coming out of. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about, and is it expensive to fix? Thanks modification_inc 10-08-2004, 08:38 PM It needs a new clutch reservoir easy job pull the pin that holds it to the pedal then go under the hood the whole assembly is held on with to bolts. Shredhead 10-11-2004, 05:19 PM Yep sounds like the clutch master cylender. sandguy 10-15-2004, 07:08 PM yes definitely the clutch master cylender. Should only be around $20 from NAPA, and can be replaced in about twenty minutes. modification_inc's instructions are right on target, remember to have a bottle of brake fluid handy:) Tim81ta 11-07-2004, 08:33 PM Here's a note, pull your carpet back, check your floor boards, brake fuild eat's away paint. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
