Denali tire lifethe blur 10-05-2004, 10:32 PM I have an 03 Denali with the goodyear 17's. 25,000 miles the tires are pretty much used up, and I will need to replace them soon. any suggestions beside the OE goodyears ?? I want something QUIET. I do ALOT of long high-way trips and hate road noise. I also see a fair amount of snow, and I noted the OE goodyears were not the best, and because the Denali has an open diff, snow traction was poor. any suggestions?? dstask 10-07-2004, 03:12 PM I've got an '02 Denali with the OEM Michelin Cross Terrain 17". With 32,000 miles, they've still got more than 50% available tread! Tires are extremely quiet on-road and give decent snow traction. Not cheap as replacements, but well worth it. BTW- one on my sons has Goodyear Wrangler HP's on an '02 Durango R/T and they are wearing quickly -- maybe his driving habits!? Duramax Dually 10-08-2004, 09:44 AM The Blur, I went through same research as our 04 was delivered with the OEM high mileage tires. I see same conditions you do. 75% road miles and 25% snow. I switched my tires to the Bridgestone Dueler A/T's. They are incredibly quiet and work great in snow and rain. I am putting the same tire on my Dually Monday based on what I have seen with the Denali. The wear seems to be OK. We have about 13K miles now. I rotate them every 7K miles. the blur 10-20-2004, 09:42 PM any other comments on 17" tires for the denali? I need some real soon.. Stitches 11-23-2004, 10:02 PM I have a 2001 Denali in Canada and currently have 120,000 Kms on my tires with life still on them. I do a combo of City/Hwy/Cottage driving. I love Michelins, always have, like them best in wet weather. Take care! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
