on 4600 miles of my 04 4runner, the maint light start blinking every time I start the engine. I read the manual and it said to reset the trip odometer. But it does not work after I tried several times.
Any suggest ???

I believe all that you do is before you put the key in the ignition push and hold to odometer reset. Put the key in the ignition and turn to the on position - DO NOT START - continue to hold the odometer reset in for a few more seconds and it should reset.

hold the reset button before turning on, otherwise, it will be too late

PARDON ME GUYS, it seems that your salesperson is an idiot. He should have told you a few things about your Toyota at delivery.
Since the oil change interval is 5000 miles, the Maint light will flash at engine start up 500 miles before you should change your oil. At 5000 miles the light will stay on. You should reset the light only after you change the oil.
