Wassah
The 2001 Camry i drive has an awsome stereo system, stock, but alot better than alot of others!

Anyways...When i play music with good hard bass, after a while the sound cuts off.
The CD playeris on...but it just shuts off.

What do you think i should do..beside stop gettin frustrated and bang on the dash board, and honk the horn :D

I solved the problem by installing an adapter on the back of the deck that added rca outputs and hooking up an amp and subs... so i just turned the bass on the deck all the way to -5 and the treble to +5 and cranked up the subs and i haven't had the problem anymore.

I've heard that because the deck is trying to push the stock speakers louder then normal it overheats.

Fully agree with stratispho
It s so called thermal protection of the end amplifier in the radio. The actuall amplifier is very small by instaling the 'big' amp you ll get better sound and no frustration
