Anyone know a good way to get one of these motors? I'm looking at some sites that sell Honda engines, but I can't find this one.

It's from the 99-00 Si.

Hey. Try www.ardperformance.com They have the B16A2 for $3295. Kinda expensive. I really dont know of any other place that sells them for cheap or even sells them at all. You can check it out if you want.:)

I'm considering a B16A2 cause I want to drop a newer engine in my '88 Civic that will be a dramatic increase in HP without doing many mods. It's a good powerplant on its own, but I could also do some mods if I wanted too. It's mainly going to be a backup vehicle/delivery car, and I want a newer reliable engine just to replace the old one.

The price it a little high so I'd probably just stick with a B16A1. They're cheap and I could easily find one with relatively low miles.
