Hi everybody,

I've got a '97 750iA, which overall is a completely amazing car.
However, my windscreen washer stopped working last week, and when looking for the problem, I found by removing the microfilters in the hood that the plastic tube going to the "3-way plastic cross" inside the hood hade come loose so all the washer fluid was spraying out inside the hood instead of getting out through the nozzles.
While this looked like a 5-minute fix at first, it turned out I couldn't figure out how to physically get my hands or any useful tool there - it seems I will need to disassemble some part of the hood, but I cannot figure out what need to be disassembled to get there.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
/Kjell

Since I got an answer to this question in another forum, I'm hereby replying to my own question so that people in this forum may benefit as well.

Petrolero answered:
"You will have to take off the vent at the rear top of the hood, this is done via pushing down on the centers of the small oval keepers which hold the grille in. These keepers will then lift out, along with the grille.

Then, you will need a 'mechanicx fingers' to reach down inside to grab the offending plastic hose and pull it out where you can get your fingers on it. I put a ty-rap on each junction to keep this from happening again.

This happened to me when the washer froze up and pump pressure caused the separation..."

I haven't tried this myself yet, but this seems to be exactly was I was looking for

Cheers,
/Kjell
