I have put new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and filters and ithas gotten more power but still runs like it is missing. it is showing a code 41 and 13. 41 is saying camshaft sensor, and 13 is inside temprature sensor. Could that make it run like that? Any ideas would be appreciated.

code 41 might cause it to run rough. let me check the service manual.

code 41 is the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) or circuit fault. Code 13 is for the Oxygen (02) Sensor or circuit fault.
My guess is its the 02 sensor, if it was the CMP you'd really have starting problems imho. Try the 02 first, its a cheap fix i believe.

Just noticed, Code 41 is for the RIGHT 02 sensor in a 1990 Cadillac. Must be two of them in your car.

The CMP is located on the distributor under the cap. Looks like an easy fix. Earlier i was thinking of the ones mounted on the front timing cover. Usually when they go, your car doesn't start. Not sure what happens when your style CMP has problems. So......either item could be giving you problems. If its an inexpensive part, you might want to replace it as it is setting a code. Let me know how you make out.

I have tried to find that camshaft position sensor but none stocks it. Probably have to go to the dealer, and you know how that goes. $$$$

Also a mechanic told me it probably had a dead cylinder. I hope it is the o2 sensor cause I have one and I'm putting it in this week.

I called and none can find it here. I must have called 6 different auto parts stores and the dealer and they say it doesn't require one, but I can show them the manual I have but they dont believe it
