88 C4 Headlight Motor ProblemRECSH 10-04-2004, 10:21 AM I Just Replaced The Headlight Motor For My 88 C4 On Pass Side, However There Is No Power Getting To It When I Make The Electrical Connection. The New Motor Works Because I Jumped It Directly From The Battery. I Was Wondering Is There A Fuse Or Fuseable Link That I'm Not Checking? By The Way The Drivers Side Works Fine. Also The Old Motor Did Have Power To It But Was Slow. Thats Why I Replaced It. But I Did Get An Arc From The Old Motor When I Took It Apart. Thats Why I'm Guessing Fuse Any Help Would Greatly Be Appreciated bigr01 12-29-2004, 04:54 PM I have a 88 C4 that I had to replace the plastic gears on my pasanger side head light motor. When I reinstalled it it didn't work. I took the passanger side motor and connected to the drivers side and it worked fine. I found out that there is a relay switch screwed to the front of the fender well inside the engine compartment on the drivers side. It can only be had through the dealership, but replacing this relay switch should solve your problem. 1963 02-22-2006, 08:55 PM I don't think there is a fuseble link there. If you give me your fax number...I have the wiring diagram for that...somewhere.. the electrical comes from light switch to headlight module and to the lights and headlight motor... Corvette85 08-16-2006, 10:25 AM We had a problem with the driver's side headlight not wanting to flip. We replaced the relays, but after we got to looking at it we realized one of the wires going to it had gotten partially cut. We fixed it with wire connectors and it works perfectly now. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
