2 months ago, i was hit dead on in my drivers side front wheel area-from a driver passing a light at a solid 30MPH. Well after the shop did a great job on everything, i'm starting to notice noises. This recently started happening (past 2 weeks) and i got my car back about a month ago. Thankfully, it was a clean hit on my end (95 thunderbird-solid car) and no frame damage was done-just the left side suspension in the front left wheel. They replaced control arm(s)..?? tie rods, coil spring, strut i believe-everything in that entire area basically.. They had to obviously alighn the front wheels and the found out it need front pads also-so i got new pads as well.

Now, onto the noise, at slow speeds only or even with the car in park, while turning the wheel any direction, i get a metal crunching/creaking noise-if i get out of the car, and push down on the side it was hit-i also get a squeak-squeak noise. I took off the wheel, and inspected the entire area-everything is beautiful. But what could these noises be..?? These noises i can live with-i just want to make sure they aren't deathtraps waiting to happen. I spoke to my regular mechanic over the phone (not the dude that fixed the accident part) and he said it's most likely the fact i was hit-and some damage was done, and theres really no way of having it 100% stock after basically "shit happens".. I'm thinking something is probably not lubed well-and that why i get the noises-should i spray down any part with wd-40 or and grease??

Ok well IF you want to know what it was, it was the lower control arm, and the tension strut-they where a tad loose. The guy at the alighnment shop left them just loose (actual nut's) enough so it developed the noise i described, now it's beautiful-no noise.
