OBD-1 in 2000 EXgimmezell 02-14-2002, 10:07 AM What is the best overall OBD-1 ECU I can stick in my 2000 Civic EX? Which is pretty much stock, just a CAI. How much can I expect to pay for the ECU and adapter? Is it possible to install a JDM OBD-1? Please help me out. Thanks ric 02-14-2002, 10:15 AM a p28 is what you want but i would spend my money on some more mods before i thought about an obd swap. 90CRXZCSi 02-14-2002, 03:17 PM Originally posted by gimmezell What is the best overall OBD-1 ECU I can stick in my 2000 Civic EX? Thanks it is possible but it would be hard to do. The motor that would be best is the USDM B16A2 from the 99-00 Civic Si. It's OBDII just like all 96+ Civics are so it should bolt in better than a OBDI(JDM B16A) Hope that helped.:D sparq 02-14-2002, 03:19 PM Originally posted by i like naked girls a p28 is what you want but i would spend my money on some more mods before i thought about an obd swap. Yeah really, especially since he only has a CAI... Hondata makes the adapter cable that you need, but like Rick said... youre just waisting your money. Why dont you pickup a header and get a custom exhaust dropped on... surely that would gain you a hella lotta more HP then the ECU swap gimmezell 02-14-2002, 05:27 PM Thanks for your replies.
