my sensor light came on (red box with red arrow pointing down)........... so i flushed the coolant till all that was seen was clear water then using coolant flush it was soapy looking so i ran that till all was clear,,,,,then drained radiator,,and added coolant,,,the light remains on? and coolant level is right, car runs fine,,
how do i turn off sensor light,,?

the coolent light sensor is like a float if it does not turn off with a full system then the level switch is defective and must be replaced.

Try gmpartsdirect.com. I replaced one in my old '98 a couple of years ago and I believe I paid $60 for that thing - from a dealer. It seemed to work for a while but now it is back to its old tricks. What can I say? GM!!
