Dont know if this is related but about 3 months ago had to change the heater resister because of the only running on nuber 4 thing , anyway back to todays prob.
Went out to it tonight started it up ,turned on the lights (tried to anyway) but there was a loud buzzing coming fron under the dashboard from a brown small box about 2'' long by 1'' wide behind the fusebox ,the full beam came on but not the normall driving lights the main beam warning light was on on the dashboard and wouldnt go out till i turned em off .
If they are related what gives? what next (lol)
seriously though any ideas peeps need to sort it but not sure were to look or what to replace! dark nights are here and i cant go round blinding everyone coming up the road .

Any help would be apreciated
thanx

Doug

Hello, You have a bad earth. check each head lamp connector. you will find one or both of them are burnt out. you can buy these as spare parts. you will have to cut out the old connectors and wire in the new ones. or if you want to try you can clean them up and try.

Thanx for the reply you are right the front near side is burnt out ,n the back one, the bulb has blown ! .Not had chance to check the wireing on it though. I take it you can buy spares form any motor supplys or is it a dealer part only ?
