tryin to start my 97 civic. battery checks with good voltage. when i turn the key enough for all the idiot lights to come on, everything seems normal but the fuel pump sounds different. then turn to start, only a clicking noise comes from the engine like the battery is almost dead. again the voltage checks fine. never any indications from this car that something was about to happen. ?????

when is the last time you changed the spark plugs?

scratch all that.. the battery voltage was good..BUT amps bad, won't hold a charge, new battery , all is well
