my reverse lights will not come on i already replaced the bulbs can some one tell me what else to doit a 92 mazda 626

My '91 mazda 626 had the same problem it was the wires running along side the driver-side trunk lid hinge, the wires were cut, I just use butt-connecters to reconnect the wires. Hope this helps.
