apexi dual exhastlucki17 09-25-2004, 02:40 AM i read that the apexi duel exhast incresses low end power and torqe, is this true? the reason i ask is becase im thinking of buying it, any good/bad experiances would be cool to. vsiev 09-25-2004, 03:55 AM um don't know where you read that, but it increases mid to high end power and mid end torque. I have it on my car. Not loud after I broke it in. Don't need to waste the extra money to get silencers. lucki17 09-25-2004, 03:53 PM yeah i though it was weird that it said it incresed low end too, thats why i asked. do you like it? i am looking for a good sounding exhast(not super loud) so i was thinking this one or a magnaflow. dekand 09-25-2004, 03:53 PM id say it increases the mid-high ends a little, it defintely revs' more freely... i only had it for a little while before i yanked the ka out but it was definitly an improvment, still slow tho. vsiev 09-25-2004, 07:23 PM change the fuel filter to a 300z filter and it will help the rev as well. In the beginning it was a slow rev for me till i got it changed out, but i had the intake header, exhaust combo. sidewayzS13 09-25-2004, 10:48 PM yea it helps mid and high end i dont think and power gains w/ low end or at least i havent heard. ive hear the dual tip is louder then the single lucki17 09-25-2004, 11:53 PM ive heard it before and it just sounds like.... well like two exhausts, and i like that sound, it wasnet nearly as loud as some greddy kits ive heard, but i still want to hear the flowmaster, just becouse i know they are the best in muscle cars. sidewayzS13 09-26-2004, 01:17 AM ive heard a hks exhaust im not sure which one on a ka motor and it sounded very good Xtreme_098 09-26-2004, 03:46 AM yea im stuck between the hks hi-power, apex'i n1 dual, and blitz nur-spec...ive heard an hks and blitz but not the apexi and ims till lookin so when i find it i will post altimaracer 09-27-2004, 01:52 AM um gut ur cat if u dont have emmissions , and take out ur resonator and put some kind of big ass exhaust on the end , mine i changed pricetags on my exhaust and paid 8.99 for it at pepboys , n e wanna know how,rip the tag off the exhaust tips and stick it on the muffler and make sure there is a girl workin , but yea that setup will sound nice too or upgrade the pipe 2.5 - 3 all the back S15_nz 09-27-2004, 02:22 AM personally i think a 3" apexi n1 is enough...two is just too much, lol if ya think 2 is too loud simply get one instead of putting two silencers on the exhausts! keep it simple. peace lucki17 09-27-2004, 02:55 AM well the ting is that these are 2.5 inches each (i think, im not sure) so accually its like having a 5 inch (thats my logik anyways) vsiev 09-27-2004, 09:43 AM it has a smaller tip. and the piping is also smaller than the n1(depending on which n1 you get). Personally I don't think it is loud at all. It was in the beginning but not anymore, unless i got use to the noise lol lucki17 09-27-2004, 03:25 PM yeah the one i hear was pretty quite (compared to others) i just really like the sound, its somewhat unique sounding, you dont hear it everyday and you can tell their is something differant if you dont see it but only hear it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
