I was wondering if someone has installed greddy IC pipes and FIPK together?? FIPK was to big and touch the pipe or not?

sorry about the size. No problems with install or fitment...the tip of the k&n does touch the pipe, but barely. the fipk comes with a bracket that keeps it in place.

No, I got the filter, GReddy pipes with type S BOV, strut bar, off ebay, used. Saved me a lotta dough.

oh ok, that makes sense. I am still trying to get my intercooler piping so i can connect my bov, damn seller from dsmtrader wont reply. He's making me mad, we exchange like 2-3 e-mail to each other then when im ready to pay he just stops replying. this has happened with other ppl from dsmtrader too. :banghead:

Photoshop does a nice job of resizing pics :D

If you buy new Greddy IC pipes you are wasting money IMO (sorry Vince ;)). You can pick up used piping w/ a 1g bov for $100, often less.

Thank you for the pics Shpyder yeah the fipk comes with a bracket that keeps it in place, but i see that in some dsm(maybe those ones with aftermarket intake pipe)the filter is a litter more on the left.

my k&n (thanks vince) hits the side. i'll post up a pic when i decide to get off my lazy ass and go outside to take one.

off topic but can i get some suggestions on what color to paint my pipes, intake, valve cover and heat shield?
i was thinking gunmetal or metallic silver with the raised lettering on the vc being red...
