I have this nice old 84' thunderbird- ELAN model---- 5.0l V8- sun roof- new paint--- BUT THE electrical is shot! The engin has less them 10000 miles on it, but the two onboard computers went out- and i have no idea where to get them replaced without being ripped- any help?

Try your local bumper-to-bumper parts store. They now carry processors. I have the same make/model as yourself and that is where I get most of my parts.

they have them, but make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing

Ford also has them, but for quite a bit more.
