I know its the windows lock wire thats causing the problem, I just need to know which wire it is. If anybody knows the exact color of this wire or any thing about this problem, could you please help? It might be the blue wire in the rubber boot that covers the tightly bundled wires in between the drivers door and the car. Here is a link to another site. Also check the threads on page 3 4 and 5 on this board. Hope this helps because I have the same problem! www.geocities.com/aurorapride/ACNA.html 97 silverbullet 09-22-2004, 11:15 PM well i have the same problem, but it might be your switch the contacts in the switch for the window lock could be corroded and causing the thing to lock all the windows, and therefore you only have control StEaLtHyUfO 09-23-2004, 04:13 PM well i have the same problem, but it might be your switch the contacts in the switch for the window lock could be corroded and causing the thing to lock all the windows, and therefore you only have control Maybe...Robert, have you tried to open up the switch and clean the contacts at all or would anybody recommend a way of doing this? This sounds like a way to avoid spending expensive money on replacing alot of parts for the Aurora when others like part for the multi function headlamp switch also needed this procedure. Thanks for your time... :iceslolan 97 silverbullet 09-23-2004, 11:44 PM yeah you can take it apart, but you have to make sure you know how to put it back together, it took me a few min to figure out how to take it apart then when all the pieces flew all over the place I had to figure out how to put them back but once I got that down I cleaned the contacts in everypart and it works fine, oh by the way my driver window wouldn't come down thats why i took it apart StEaLtHyUfO 09-24-2004, 10:50 PM yeah you can take it apart, but you have to make sure you know how to put it back together, it took me a few min to figure out how to take it apart then when all the pieces flew all over the place I had to figure out how to put them back but once I got that down I cleaned the contacts in everypart and it works fine, oh by the way my driver window wouldn't come down thats why i took it apart Thanks will try it and get back to the board to let others also know if it worked for me too! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
