Annoying brake squeek99DenaliMan 09-22-2004, 04:21 AM I have a very annoying brake squeek upon "feathering" and even some normal usage of the brakes. Seems to be no problem with the squeek when I stomp on the brakes. Anyways it's the front. I have new rotors. They don't vibrate like their warped. When I bought them my Buddy "mechanic" did something to them to keep them from squeeking. He put 90 or 180degree cuts or grooves or something in them. I also replaced the pads with asbestos pads/ I've been told that they wear quicker than the carbon fiber and may not even work as well, but are suppossed to be a little quietier. None of these things have worked. Any ideas???? Rbraczyk 09-22-2004, 06:40 AM Your calipers may be screwed up.
