Can you set the timming for a 98 dakota 5.2 liter? If so how? If not what did I do when I moved the distribtor? The truck runs put pings at 3500 rpm or so. Now I just want it to run better. It also uses oil, it only has 76000 miles on it.

It needs the intake manifold gaskets replaced, and the pcm reprogrammed.

So you can't set the base timming like older GM stuff by disconecting a wire or something like that?

Is any of this a recall? Is the intake the oil consumtion?

Thanks for your help.

Nope, no recall just a pretty common problem
