my truck start sputterin at about 55 MPH iv took off the catylac converter and cleaned it, i thought that was the problem but it seems not to be neone know what it could be?
could it be the fuel pump?

a little short on details, what made you think it might be the cat? how did you come to suspect the fuel pump? has any work been done recently? The loss of spark is the first place to look as ignition is the system most likely to fail on any car. After that is ruled out then look at fuel ect. Try to give us any more details you may have so we can help diagnose your truck.

ohk i got what it was now, trash or sumthin had to get in the carborator cuz i just blew the whole exaust off of it yesterday had to take it today to get a whole nother exaust put on it and now it runs fine
