I was wondering if anyone has heard of or had problems with "pulsing" RPMs. The RPMs pulse if I'm A) idling or B) driving up a hill.

Also, my brakes creak when I apply pressure and I hear a metallic rubbing sound in the wheel bed whenever I drive (which makes me think it might have something to do w/ the wheel/brake system?). I've had the rotors and pads replaced and the sound seemed to go away for a couple months, but it's back.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

have the caliper slides checked. You may have a caliper hanging up and not releasing, causing the rubbing noise. The pulsing rpm may be caused by a bad IAC valve, either sticking or not seating due to foreign material caught in it's seat.

Hi I was wonder if you ever figured out what your problem was with your brakes? I have the same problem and was curious, I have an extended warrantee and I brought it in for a couple of other things and mentioned this problem and of course they didn't look to hard and assumed I meant brake pad noise. There is a clip in the caliper that applies pressure on the pads (I think) and I think they need to be replaced. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
