well, not sure about the names (the 240SX is called 200SX here since the 80's an has an SR20DET) but -

afaik, the 180SX features the CA18DET, which has 147 DIN-kW.
more than an KA24DE with 103 DIN-kW.

jup, just read that, but I thought he's smart enough to figure out that an SR20DET 147kW-whatever-SX is faster than one with CA18DET and 125kW.

and I also read that I made a mistake by saying that a CA18DET has 147 kW. It has not.

it wouldn't be completely wrong to say that they may hold similar potential when it comes to static peformance specs. on the other hand... RWD vs. 4WD has it's pro's and con's.

and of course the "deadly shifting~" is always an important factor~ lolz... XD

My 180 was ca18det when I bought it but has since had the sr20det put in place and it goes much harder!

a lot of people say that ca18 is more responsive though, personally I think there just jealous that they dont have an SR! :P
