Information Display in 2000 WindstarCessnadriver 09-19-2004, 07:33 PM The digital driver information display in my 2000 Windstar has gone out to lunch. This summer, the outside air temp displayed would be ~~ 40 -50 degrees too high. After driving a while, it would slowly climb higher until it just reads "ERR". Usually after displaying 140 degrees for a while. Now it just reads "ERR" all the time. Thanks for any help on this. 12Ounce 09-23-2004, 02:54 PM I don't know much about this device, but might can share a little: The sensor is a little plastic pointy device that just forward-of/below the radiator in the center/right of the vehicle. Under that plastic thing they call a bumper. Check to see that the sensor elect connector is in place. Then try swapping with a neighbor-fellow-Winnie-owner-good-friend to see if the sensor is the problem. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
