Does anybody know if the Ram Air setup off of a 98-01 3.4 GT will fit/work (with some modification) on a 96 3.1 GT... I know the engines are basically the same... curious about engine bay/compartment differences.

Any opinions... do-able... worth it.. shouldn't bother.

I wouldn't waste your time if i were you, the ram air on the 99+ g/a's is very restrictive and it's that effective. Your better off making your own "ram air" or CAI If your looking for more of an apperance thing, i believe the engine bay on the 96-98 is smaller then the 99+ and it would be a tight fit, not sure on this though.
