hey guys i got a problem with my 84 celica, it's a manual, i drove my car and accelerated and right when it passes 2500 rpm the car just revves and there's no aceleration at all... is it because my clutch is wearing and not gripping?? or is my tranny messed up??

Your clutch is worn out or your pressure plate has gotten weak. Either way, you have to change something between the engine and the transmission. Mosty likely is your clutch has worn out.
