no dash lights on 2000 chev venture

Last week we found that there was some type of chiming or alarm when opening the drivers door indicating something was wrong (even without the key in the ignition). At first nothing was apparent since we drove the van during the day only for a week. My wife drove the van last night and found the dash lights are not working. Tried checking the fuses on the right side of the dash and I believe I found the one (10amp) for the instrument cluster which appeared to be fine. It's not entirely clear from the manual which fuse it may be and whether or not that is the problem. I'm hoping I might be able to track down the problem myself.

Any help identifying the correct fuse or possible cause would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Found my problem to be a burnt fuse in the box in the engine compartment. Turned out the running lights were not functioning at the time as well. Cheap fix for me this time.
