Free Aveo!!!GMPenguin 09-13-2004, 06:38 PM On the radio station I listen to out of Kansas City there is a commercial that says if you buy a Suburban, Trailblazer, Tahoe, or 1500 Silverado Crew Cab you get a free aveo, excepet for sales tax. I think its those 4 vehicles, not sure. Nissan did this with '03 Sentras in, I think it was New Jersey. et10sec 09-24-2004, 09:49 PM didn't kia do the same thing with a rio, if you buy a mini van or an optima PigPen5150 11-23-2004, 09:51 PM They just started doing that here. One dealer is giving you an Aveo for a penny plus transfer fees and doc fees. Another dealer is offering an Aveo or a base Cavalier for a dollar plus transfer and doc fees. 89IROC&RS 12-02-2004, 06:06 PM their giving the car away for free....... dealers i know do that with keychains.... tell you something???? J-Ri 12-11-2004, 04:22 PM If the car's free, the truck is probably over priced by about $10,000 :) cousincletus 02-07-2005, 11:04 AM I'm thinking J-Ri is right. Or they may be trying to avoid govt. fines by making their C.A.F.E. (corporate average fuel economy) higher. Buy 1 gas guzzler, get a 35 mpg car to offset the crappy mileage. slacker_53 02-07-2005, 05:43 PM It's a frick'in Daewoo for god's sake. That oughta speak volumes! redrage 02-15-2005, 10:32 PM With the problems I am having with mine, no wonder they might be giving them away ghostrdr 04-21-2005, 11:54 PM The deal was, you give up the incentive and rebates. The trucks they made you buy had something like 8 grand in rebates and the Aveo had 2 grand I think. the base Aveo was less than ten grand so the dealer actually ended up selling too cars and disguising it as a free giveaway. I would much rather get the truck I wanted and get the rebates, then use the money to buy performance upgrades vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
