Help, Im in the middle of Nevada and cooking to death. My high pressure line had a leak in it. I found the leak (actually the nut loosened and the line came apart), and took care of it, then recharged my a/c unit. I worked ok for a few hours or so, then all the sudden the a/c light on the control panel starts blinking and now no cold air. Compressor will not kick on even if I bypass the low pressure switch (pressure is OK). It will however come on if it run a hot wire from the batter directly to the hot line going into the pump. Then it kicks on and runs good, very cold air. But I dont want to run it like this if this could be damaging. Any ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.
