Im just wondering if over all if it is worth I know the crank is a like the heart of the engine. Right now just asken to see if its worth it and what could cause the Crank to break. (also how easy is it to fix such a thing) (specs) 1985 CHEVROLET S10 BLAZER, 4x4, bad 2.8 V6 (broken crank), at, ps, pb ac, am/fm, cd, alum mags, complete truck for parts, repair or 4x4 toy, and Black paint no rust dents or dings Thanx to everyone that replies or tried to help Maxtor102 08-30-2004, 08:33 PM Also any idea how much a engine goes for used.. Or would i just need to by a new crank? Rick Norwood 08-31-2004, 12:02 AM A rebuilt long block will probably run you approx. $1000 - $1500 by the time your finsihed, if you do the R&R yourself. In the end, the 2.8 engine is too small for the truck. Don't waste your money. BlazerLT 08-31-2004, 11:39 AM Waste of money, walk away. 2.8L is gutless anyways and is really hard on gas seeing it works so hard. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
