Hello everyone, new to this forum but not new the site...I usually post on the Isuzu forum. Looks like individuals get responses here so that it good which is not always the case on our forum.
My brother has 99 Neon sport with 70k and he will be moving out East soon (about 1200 miles) We were wondering if one is able to tow with this car with hurting the tranmission and we really do not want to be running the car in 3rd gear the whole trip. He plans on towing motorcycle (600-800lbs) with a temporary hitch and trailer. I am guessing the total weight would be around 1000-1200 lbs.
I have checked around and have not found any useful information, only that towing capacity was not rated on this car.

all i know is the 99 neon R/T max towing capacity is 1000lbs try the link it might help u
