Well just theother night it was storming out andiwas drivin down a street, and there was a HUGe water puddle the street was flooded, the water came up alomst to the bottom of the door and of course i went to go through it doin about 40 km/h, and my car just died and wont start back up turn over or anything so i pused it into a parkin lot, today my local dodge dealer looked at it and said that teh connection rod broke through the block and killed the motor, i have a power train warrenty on the car, but they said there gonna get it looked at and as long as it wasnet done from abuse it will be covered, the ppl at the shop said the only way taht could happen was if i was over reving it, how ever i wasent i never do, it was drivin rough how ever by the previous owners of it.............. so any advice for what i should do??? and is there any other reason as to why the rod could have snaped and broke through???

possible you engine sucked up water into the engine and hydro locked and threw a rod, i've seen many motors do this. mostly on cars with aftermarket cold air intakes

If you're gonna install a CAI and live in a place that rains enought to where theres gonna be puddles that deep, Invest in a Bypass valve... AEM has one.
