Laffy Taffy in air ventbribella 08-25-2004, 05:11 PM My child had thrown some taffy up on the dashboard of my 2001 windstar. Right on top og the passenger side vent, it wasn't found until I saw the melted mess. Could this be a reason as to why my van seems to bog down lately? It melted all down in there. Is it possible to get it out by changing the air filter there? PumpItUp 08-25-2004, 07:55 PM Taffy or anything else won't find it's way to the air filtre but you may mean the fresh air filter for the driving compartment. It may need to be investigated and sorry to say that you won' be able to do it yourself..It would get to the fan in the cabin compartment firstly and no it would not make your van bog down.. on acceleration>?? Try some treatments of mid grade fuel or octane booster and or fuel injector cleaner.. all can /should be added at time of filling up the tank with fuel and usually only costs 4-10 dollars depending on quality of product. Try that first and taffy.. hmmm.. just be happy it wasn't spaghetti! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
