i have 96 grand cherokee laredo and replaced both sensors and the abs light still comes on. i was told everything else checks fine. the dealer wants $620 just for the part. my mechanic say's he wouldn't pay that either. he also states you could just disconnect it or try to find it less expensive elsewhere. any competent suggestions welcome.

ask your mechanic what codes the car was throwing, or take the car to a place like autozone and they will get the codes for you for free

if you dont know what codes are there you really cant fix it.it could be a wheel speed sensor, pump motor, a wiring problem, module, hydraulic unit, brake light switch, just to name a few.theres even a g-switch under the back seat that could go bad.come up with a code and maybe we can help
