Toyota won't start after sitting for a while

Work sent me to california for 3 weeks, so my beater 1990 toyota 4x4 sat in the garage for a while. It ran just fine before I left.

When I go to start it, it turns and turns, but nothing. I tried many times.

I had the same problem before at one point. I let it sit, then I had a very hard time starting it, but eventually it started and ran fine.

The truck is fuel injection.

I remember when I had an old chevy, if it didn't start after sitting a while, all I had to do was dump a little gas down the carbs and boom, no problem.

Any quick fix out there? Or suggestions? I can't exactly squirt fuel into the efi.

Thanks very much in advance.

Make sure that you have a good charge on the Battery after trying to start the truck so much. Them pull one spark plug and look at it, is it wet? if so pull all plugs turn the engine over a couple of times and then clean and dry the plugs put them back in and try again. If the plug is not wet then check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail. My truck will sometimes do this if not started for a week or longer, Try the fresh charge on the battery tho, it usually works for me, I have a theory what is wrong, but have not tried a fix yet.

It Sounds Like You Have A Leaking Fuel Injecter.try Holding Gas Peddle To The Floor, turn Engine Over, engine Should Start To Fire, keep Peddle To Floor.truck Should Start, then Back Off On Peddle, keep Truck Running Till Leaky Cyclender Starts To Fire.hope This Helps You.let Me Know The Outcome.rondog331
